Why I Created This Program

A note from Joanna

Counsellor and Founder, Living Well with GLP‑1

I created this program for women who want more than just weight loss.
You want to feel calm, strong and at home in your own body.

Whether you're just starting GLP‑1, have been using it for a while or you're thinking about transitioning off, this space is here for you. Together, we work with the deeper layers — trust, values, habits, and identity.

Joanna’s GLP‑1 Health Journey

I’ve walked this path.

I lost 30 kilos naturally and kept it off for six years. Then, after a difficult season, I regained the weight and started exploring GLP‑1. With the right support and mindset tools, I lost it again. But what shifted most was my relationship with myself.

For me, this work is about coming home. Not to a number, but to a life that feels aligned and kind.

I bring together everything that helped me along the way: counselling, mindfulness, breathwork, evidence-informed tools and a deep respect for each woman’s story.

Backed by Research, Held with Care

GLP‑1 medications are supported by strong clinical trials showing improvements in weight, metabolic health and cardiovascular risk. But research also shows we need more than medication to sustain change.

In this program, we use therapeutic approaches like ACT, mindfulness and values-based tools to build resilience and support you for the long run.

You don’t have to do this alone.

I’m here to walk alongside you.

Section: A Gentle Framework That Works

My approach is grounded in five core areas of support:

1.     Mindful Movement — feel stronger with less strain

2.     Thoughtful Nourishment — enjoy food without confusion

3.     Nervous System Regulation — soothe overwhelm

4.     Restorative Sleep — rebuild energy and clarity

5.     Emotional and Social Connection — feel more like yourself again

These pillars shape our sessions and your Getting Started Kit.
